Our task was to transform part of an industrial unit into a practical, comfortable office space. The challenge was to provide a solution that blended seamlessly with the industrial surroundings while ensuring the office area was functional, modern, and well-suited for its intended use.
To create a flexible and professional office environment, we constructed a freestanding office space using 70mm metal stud framing, providing a solid framework for the partitioning. This allowed us to divide the office area from the rest of the industrial unit, creating a dedicated space for office workers.
To complete the office space, we installed a Zentia Aruba suspended ceiling. The choice of Zentia Aruba was driven by its excellent acoustic properties, durability, and aesthetic appeal, making it the perfect choice for the office area. The suspended ceiling not only enhanced the look of the office but also contributed to a comfortable and quiet working environment.
Once the framework was in place, we carefully applied 12.5mm plasterboard to the walls and partitions, creating smooth, durable surfaces. The plasterboard joints were expertly taped and jointed, ensuring a flawless finish, ready for decoration. This process not only enhances the overall appearance of the office but also increases the longevity and strength of the partitions.
