An existing suspended ceiling in Interchange Park, Portsmouth had been installed so tightly to the services above that it wasn’t possible to remove tiles to access services above without causing damage.
SCS Ceilings lowered the ceiling by 50mm and installed an MF down stand around the staircase.
Standard trim installation wouldn’t be possible on a curve, and while curved ceiling trim can be made to order, the timeframe and budget on this job meant it wasn’t possible. This didn’t stand in our way - our motto is ‘Adapt and Overcome!’.
We achieved a great finish here which is now visually pleasing and practical for maintenance requirements.
