Halliford Independent Day School in Shepperton, Surrey enlisted Suspended Ceiling Solutions to undertake works to ensure areas of the school complied with COVID-19 distancing regulations.
Their existing library needed to be divided to provide two extra classroom spaces. We stripped back the existing grid and tile suspended ceiling and installed new metal stud partition walls which extended up to the structural slab. This was to ensure there was a minimum of sound transmission in the new areas. We then fitted two layers of soundboard plasterboard to both sides and plastered to finish.
