No time for a seaside holiday last week as although we were in beautiful Dawlish, the SCS team were busy installing a new chrome grid and black tile suspended ceiling.

An existing suspended ceiling in Interchange Park, Portsmouth had been installed so tightly to the services above that it wasn’t possible to remove tiles to access services above without causing damage.

A late nighter for the SCS team as we installed another fantastic black ceiling tile and chrome grid suspended ceiling. This Ceiling was fitted at night to minimise disruption to the Casino’s opening hours.

During half term, we completed a ceiling repair at Crescent School, Eastleigh. The school hall ceiling had areas of Gyptone board, which had been damaged due to a burst pipe.

Recently completed, this full height 1 hour fire rated 70mm metal stud partition was installed by the SCS team in a Stevenage retail store. Part of a redevelopment of a well known high street brand, this formed part of the new ‘prototype store’, which they are rolling out as their store of the future.

We kicked off 2020 with a fantastic project for one of our longstanding customers. Their rapid expansion meant that new office space was required.

Areas of high humidity need a specialist ceiling and luckily, SCS are experts in ceiling for areas that need to be wiped down or are in wet areas.

A little further afield than you’ll usually find SCS, but one of our regular customers had a ceiling requirement in Bolton so we were more than happy to jump in the van and install another fabulous Casino ceiling.
